Our story
The Alliance Française was established in Paris in 1883 by eminent figures of the arts, the sciences, and politics to ensure the influence of the French language and culture around the world.
The Alliance Française de Gaborone was created in 1980 and is the language and cultural centre of Botswana. It cooperates with the Ministry of Education and local artists.
Our teachers are French, Francophone and Batswana. We offer courses for children of 6 years, up to adults! We also promote both local and international artists through concerts,exhibitions and many more events…
